A Trip to Washington D.C.
The fallen stars. Four thousand golden stars represent for 400,000 souls perished in the second world war.
The Vietnam War Memorial Wall always brings a haunting sadness in every visit.

I’m sure that would be amazing to see in person, even more evocative. I’ve never seen that wall of golden stars before. Great pictures!

Nice place to visit. Though, I never been there yet… believe or not.
It’s interesting to me that the folks in DC have these daily reminders of the perils of war, but we find ourselves at war again. And again…

Summer is great so far. I have a summer off from school, so I’m spending it with my family. I hope you begin to write again. I miss you, and I miss your writing.

i was there last year w/ my parents, he was real quiet at the VN war memorial wall. It was kinda…eerie… and I didnt’ know what to do when taking pictures, usually I would smile and the camera clicks but at places like that, it’s just best taking picture of the scene and not me in it.

I came to say hi. I don’t do much on Xanga anymore but go straight to a currency trader’s site. But it’s Christmas and late and I am remembering my Xanga friends and missing you.
