Saturday morning, near my place there was an art on the green. I was on my way to grocery shopping so I stopped there a few minutes. I wanted to take a few more pictures but I remembered that was not welcomed. I did not feel well probably because the allergy eye drops had anti histamine. So I walked one round and left. The art show was not crowded. The ground was wet because the heavy rain the night before.
A hydrangia, a late bloomer stood lonely at the corner of the park.I love the look of the old church. I went to a local library. Saw this kind of nut but did not know its name. I checked out a few more items about the Lords of the Rings include of two CD, a video tape of National Geographic made about the locations related to the movie, a few books about mythology. The librarian asked if I was in a book club. I said I read a lot but was not in any club. She said now you are and gave me a tote bag to carry my books home. So sweet. I drove to a park a little out of the way. I showed pictures of the park previously but I wanted to see the cattails again. Actually, I went there because I missed a young friend I had taken to the park and had taken a few of her pictures so she could post them on her Facebook.
I noticed this flower under the shade but did not know its name. When I have a little free time I will research but if anyone who pass by know its name please tell me.I am working on the Oscar Wao book. I think in 2 weeks at most I will have a rough translation. By the end of October it will be done. I hear some birds cry really loudly so I look out of the kitchen window and see a falcon killing a little bird. My kitchen window is very dirty so I cannot take picture through the window. I open the back door the falcon flying up to the trees. Above is the bird the falcon kills. The ear piercing cry belongs to a few blue jays whose fear is so intense that it interrupts my work and destroys my peace and concentration.

Bluejays can be terribly loud. We have quite a few around here.
I wish I could go to an art fair that wasn’t crowded. I find it frustrating to go to one and be so surrounded by people that you can’t really look at anything without being jostled.
it came as sort of a jarring surprise to see the photo of the dead bird. -g
Nice pictures chi Wish! =)
Lovely photos. I so enjoy taking photos and seeing the beauty of God’s world. Judi
Hi. Sorry I’ve been gone so long. I do not know the name of the nut or the flower but I love the first picture of the cattails.
Nice!
Such beautiful pictures and, yes, I too love the old churches. I’m saddened that your reverie was broken by the scene at the end…
Lovely photos nice walk thanks for taking me with you. Judi
