When I left the States for Vietnam, I brought with me a few books to read when I was waiting between flights. One was Memoirs of a Geisha recommended by Da Thao. The other was Atlas Shrugged recommended by watermonster. I finished the memoirs, the other one got lost on one of the trains. (I read for 6 month just half of the novel. It is one of the dullest novels for entertainment
) To me it was a bad sign, an omen.
As soon as I got back to the states, I found out watermonster died. I thought someone had killed him but soon after I learned that he committed suicide. He shut himself down and out.
I learn again that he was insane temporarily. And now he is in a phase of metamorphosis. I am not sure what he will transform into. Increasingly may be he will be a dragon. Decreasingly he may be con thằn lằn. Watermonster lives in water. Dragon lives on cloud I guess. Con thằn lằn lives mostly in warm weather. California or Texas may be a good location to complete the transformation.

Very deep thoughts huh………
hehe yeah .. cao sie^u wa’ .. 0 bi’t no’i gi` luo^n chi. AW .. but nghe hay hay ca’i dzu. Dragon & con tha(`n la(`n ..
I’m confused. Where’s Watermonster?
Dragon and watermonster both were mythical, Wish. Maybe metamorphosisI got over his internal struggles and finally found himself. Perhaps he’s happy to let go the past, include the famous pen name “watermonster” and start a new life with new name. I still miss “watermonster”.
Wha??? So confuse….
he’s on vacation AW!
Atlas Shrugged is a complex book to read. I would suggest the Fountainhead before you read Atlas Shrugged.
Sad to hear that watermonster shut down his site…perhaps another door will open. Take care wish.
=)
ryc: I know there is a schedule they have to keep, but consider the next train is 90 minutes later and everybody is trying to make it to the office by 8:30 am, our old Conductor was always nice enough to wait a little bit to make sure everyone got on board.
My condolences.
MMm?
nice post. how r u chi wish ui? been awhile. guess chi having fun. those pix of viet view so preety. have a nice day chi.
Good & FUNNY entry re: watermonster!! I think he got too much pressures from his loving friends, so could not take it any more… heheheh… Hopefully he’ll transform into something much better during his retreat, right chi.AW?
did you have a good trip to VN? em want to return and live there forever
.
just dropping by to cha`o chi. have a good week chi.
How was Memoirs? Its on my reading list
Still confused. How about reading some true classics like Harry Potter? lol. Actually His Dark Materials Trilogy is ubber good. It’s kinda like a mix between Harry Potter and The Da Vinci Code. Story about two kids but really a dark tale.
Atlas Shrugged is awesome. Sadly, you lost it. Happily, someone will find it and probably will pawn it, and will survive another day. Or, if they could read English, they’ll benefit greatly from it. Knowledge is the key, the person needs only to find the key hole afterward.
ryc: I’ll say thank you to that.
“Memoirs of a Geisha” is an interesting book.
“At Last Shrugged” is a book that, after two attempts, I Shrugged and concluded that I must give up reaing it lest I might become insane.
I was surprised to know that watermonster shut himself down due to his temporay insanity. If he is transforming, I Wish him transformed into something better than a monster. Definitely not an insane monster.
o wow, i’ve been meaning to getting around to read Atlas Shurgged. I bought the book at this used book store a while ago…heheh i guess gotta find time for it. but anyways, thank you for the well wishes =)
i hope things are going swell with u too. hehehe
This is a confusing entry and I don’t know whether it is a flair for the dramatics or real life. Anyways, I think I am going to read Atlas just because you did!
very funny.
hhhmmmmm…Memoirs of a Geisha… em gai been hearing a lot about this book.. How is it chi Wish? Should I give it a try? I miss you sis.. haven’t been able to comment much may bua nay boi hoi ban ti… Chuc sis luon vui ve va binh yen nhen.. Em gai, Anh Thu*
I like the way you convey the message, chi Wish… you’re a master at words.
by the way, chi, i am looking forward to my next trip (hihihi)… where are you taking me to? i am ready, chi oi
i felt the same way, the last person that i would expect to shut down their own site is watermonster.
