It is unusually warm today. It is raining lightly but there is no need for gloves or hat or scarf. Many people even take off their coats. On the wet streets the Christmas lights shine upon.On the train ride home I see the spruce at West station has been adorned with white lights. So has the tree at Fan Station. The streets I take from my station to go home everyday and the neighborhood all decorated with Christmas lights. All the twinkling stars are hanging in many pretty ways on the trees, on the hedges, and the bushes in front of many houses. Christmas is coming with its magical air again.
On Black Friday when a man scaled down the door and that led to some people trampled a man to death, someone who is living in Canada commented that people who live in the United States stomp on each other to make money and to spend money. Although I feel disheartening when that incident happened I think Americans are good hearted people and that generalized comment is invalid. That is so rude and ignorant of him to say that. My belief in people’s goodness is restored when I read on yahoo news that someone was going around to distribute money at the mall to people who looked like they really needed a boost. There was a picture of two young women whose face were wet with tear when a woman handed one of them two hundred dollars with a condition that she had to do something nice for her family. Just like anywhere in the world there is always goodness as well as evil spirit.

You are so right. It’s disheartening when bad things happen but for every bad thing that happens there a lots of good things that never get reported. I always like to keep the glass half full like you to keep going and smiling. Life is too short to be grim.
you are ever the optimist.
i think the world is 70% good, 25% bad and 5% undecided.
