It was raining last night. I did not know when the rain started but when I woke up the rain had stopped. My driveway covered with leaves, wet and slippery. There was enough light in the front yard to take pictures. Those were taken in the back yard blurry because there was not enough light.
Taking pictures became a habit. Tuesday morning I went to vote. Voting location is an old firehouse, looking very nice with red door. As I stood in line waiting my turn to vote I saw fall foliage through windows. I thought the picture of window frame showing fall leaves would look very beautiful. But I did not dare to take pictures in the voting room. People would think that was weird to take pictures everywhere even in the voting room.
Right behind my house, near my retaining wall, there is an oak tree. The leaves turn half red and half green. When I took these pictures it was very windy therefore the pictures were slightly blurry.
Driving to work, in the misty air, the wood was wet with dark branches but the leaves were colorful in wide range of warm hues, brown, red, orange, crimson, yellow, lime, combine a beautiful picture.

Wow I looked closer at the photos of your driveway the colors are certainly a range of colors. I love Fall. It has been Fall here it seems for a very long time but the leaves are really falling now and Winter will soon be upon us. I love the stark beauty of Winter too. Judi
